The Salvation Army accepts cars, boats, motorcycles, trucks, and RVs. Once received by the organization, your vehicle will be sold, with the proceeds going directly to rehabilitation programs within your local region.  Simply call Salvation Army’s 1-800 number to schedule a pick-up, or you can sign up online. You’ll get scheduled within three business days of submitting your information.

There’s no fee and it’s ok if your car isn’t in working order. At the time of pick-up, you’ll receive a receipt for tax purposes. You’ll also receive additional information once the sale has taken place, so you know the exact tax-deductible amount.
