Total is their most popular, as it includes protection for your dryer, washer, air conditioner and refrigerator. Plans start at $31 a month, and home service fees are only $60, which is $15 less than the national average.

Additional add-on coverage is also available for items such as pools, spas, well and septic, central vacuums, and stand-alone freezers. Coverage begins 30 days after signing up, but thereafter all items are protected for one full year. Problems can be reported 24/7, 365 days a year.
